The programme was to design a centre for adults and senior citizens, where activities of recreation and education can take place.
It was to house an auditorium, two classrooms and an administrative office. The studio focused on an understanding of materials.

As an exercise in 'humanities' a newspaper was to be conceptualized.A time period was alloted to a group and a significant personality was taken from that time as the editor.
